RECENT COACH EVALUATIONS:
"Connor is a phenomenal
player to have on any team. He exemplifies the word teammate. He is not concerned with individual glory, but solely focused
on team accolades. As a Junior on our high school team last season, he was a leader through his actions and every game left
everything on the field. He is one of those "Tebow" like athletes who just knows how to lead his team to victory.
His teammates look up to him and are always watching what he is doing in an effort to raise their game to the next level.
It is not an accident that he won the NSCAA Flordia Player of the Year for 2011. He is truly deserving of this, and as stated
earlier it is something he never even dreamed of winning. As a central
defender, Connor reads the game very well and recognizes the build up 2-3 seconds before it actually happens. He is excellent
in his distribution out of the back and because of this, he is able to involve himself and help us build out of the back with
high levels of success. Connor also possesses a long throw-in that causes MAJOR issues for all teams no matter what the level.
It may sound ridiculous, but this weapon is one that makes every throw-in in the attacking third a VERY dangerous scoring
opportunity.
